NATIONAL DECORATORS COMPLETES HIGH-PROFILE TYREMAX PROJECT

“As a high-end design company, Euroclass requires only the best contractors to work on their projects. The professionalism, image and quality National Decorators displayed aided the overall success of the Tyremax project,”

Christchurch-based National Decorators Ltd, a fifth generation painting and decorating firm, has completed another high-profile project that has further cemented its position in the elite of the New Zealand construction industry.

“As a high-end design company, Euroclass requires only the best contractors to work on their projects. The professionalism, image and quality National Decorators displayed aided the overall success of the Tyremax project,”

Established for two generations in England by the Waite family before it emigrated to New Zealand in the middle of last century, National Decorators’ core strategy over the past 2 years has been to leverage the professional reputation and qualifications it developed in the South Island residential sector and apply them as a unique service in the Canterbury Rebuild.

The company’s latest landmark contract was with Auckland-based Euroclass RSH, a commercial design-and-build company founded in 1987 which has since completed more than 150 development projects involving a total footprint of nearly a quarter of a million square metres.

Euroclass engaged National Decorators to complete a combined 2000m2 warehouse and 200m2 office block for tyre wholesaler Tyremax on Hayton Road in the Christchurch industrial suburb of Wigram. Built of precast concrete panels, the facility features aluminium composite panelling and louvres in the office area, and a 732m2 canopy in the yard, and it required painting and decorating that would “both look great and last well into the future,” Euroclass’s Paul Parkes said.

“As a high-end design build company, Euroclass requires only the best contractors to work on their projects”.

“The professionalism, image and quality National Decorators displayed aided the overall success of the Tyremax project,” Parkes said.

National Decorators is run by brothers Richard and Ben Waite from their base in Sockburn, Christchurch, and qualified as the second highest painting company nationwide on Site Safe’s AppCon health and safety rating earlier this year.

The company subsequently also won Secondary accreditation to the Accident Compensation Corporation’s (ACC’s) Workplace Safety Management Programme (WSMP), qualifications which reinforce a reputation for safety  that it has earned in the intensely competitive environment of the $4 billion Canterbury residential repair project.
